Shannon Jones, MD

Dr. Shannon Jones joined the SPC team from LeBonheur Children’s Hospital/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where she completed her pediatric residency. A graduate of The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine, Dr. Jones first studied biological sciences at Mississippi State University while playing for the MSU Women’s Soccer Team. She also has a master’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Tulane University School of Medicine.

Dr. Jones resides in Starkville with her husband, Skylar, and their daughter. Outside of pediatrics, Dr. Jones is a member of Pinelake Church, enjoys fishing, traveling, game nights with friends, and attending MSU sporting events.
