Alicia Box, FNP-BC

Alicia Box, FNP-BC, is a lifelong resident of the Starkville area and a graduate of Starkville Academy, Class of 2009. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from East Mississippi Community College in 2014, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2017, and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from MUW in 2025. Alicia began her nursing career at OCH, where she worked on the inpatient surgery floor from 2015 to 2018. She then spent seven years as a registered nurse at Starkville Pediatric Clinic before transitioning into the nurse practitioner role in September 2025.

Although pediatrics was not her original career goal, caring for children quickly became her passion. Alicia finds great fulfillment in watching her patients grow, reach milestones, and accomplish their dreams. She values building long-term relationships with families and is dedicated to keeping children healthy so they can thrive and reach their full potential. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael Box, their two young children, and their dog Bruno.
