Abby Thornhill, PNP

Abby Thornhill, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), attended Mississippi University for Women for her undergraduate education, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her nursing career included Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, and Starkville Pediatric Extended Care. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with dual certification in Pediatric Primary and Acute Care, earning Summa Cum Laude honors, from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in August 2023.

Abby’s special interest include pediatric development, mental health, as well as caring for children with chronic medical conditions requiring multidisciplinary needs. 

In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling (especially to the beach), reading, and painting. She and her husband, Alden, live in Starkville with their infant daughter and their two dogs, Lucy and Memphis.
